Ingredients
- 2 large egg whites
- 2 1/2 cups unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1/2 cup roasted almond nuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup raw honey
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon unrefined sea salt
- 1 cup cold water
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees f. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the egg whites, coconut flakes, and almonds in a bowl. Stir in honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Chill the batter for 30 minutes.
- Stir the batter a few times. Scoop out batter (about 2 tablespoons for each macaroon) and dip in cold water. Place ball into the baking sheet.
- Bake the macaroons for 10 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool and serve.
